I am a 31 year old married woman with an eleven year old daughter. On May 18, 2007 at 3:30 pm our lives changed forever. My husband fell approx. 12 feet. He fractured his skull in 3 places, broke his sternum, broke 2 right ribs, he had pulmonary contusions, and he broke his back at T-10. Upon arriving at the hospital I was told there was little hope. They air evaced him 2 hours away to a trauma center. He did survive, however things are very different. He is now a parapalegic. We went through so much, it was nearly a month before he knew who I was! He was released July 17, 2007. We came home to no money and a pile of bills. As hard as it is just caring for him all alone, the worst part is the financial burden. We both worked and we did not recieve public assistance. I can't pay whats due much less catch up what wasn't paid while he was in the hospital. I'm so afraid. I have to catherize my husband every 4-6 hours to drain his bladder, do digital stimulation on his bowels, bathe, and dress him, do range of motion excersizes, etc. He is totally dependent on me. I do all this ALONE. I don't mind so much because I love him and he'd do the same for me. We live in a trailer, not ran down but old, nearly 12 to be exact. I've always been one to spruce things up on a budget and I am quite the neat freak, I owe over $20,000 on it. It was to be our starter home. Our plan was to stay here and get it paid for in 6 years then get a house. We live in a mobile home community on a rented lot, I've been unable to pay the rent. We bought a used vehicle in Feb. & I can't pay the note on it, it's in need of repair. Little things I always took for granted like laundry detergent and bath soap are hard to come by. I feel so alone and embarrassed. What am I to do?? We need help bad and fast! I am sharing my story with you in hopes that someone will help us. Thank you & God Bless! Hi! You dont know me, but I want to ask you a question. Have you corresponded with a man going by Jacobs jackovich or Pastor Jacobs?? If you have and he has sent you money orders please dont cash them before you make absolutely sure they are real. Im not sure, but I think he is running a scam, he tried to get me to fall for it, but I didnt. He mailed me $3000 in money orders and wants me to cash them at my bank then western union most of the money to a man in Iowa claiming he is also a Pastor. BE CAREFUL!!!

If ANYONE sends a money order to you do this!!!
Before going to your bank to deposit the money order, first go to the post office counter and verify the money order is legitimate and that the amount is correct. It's that simple.
Verifying the amount is very important because many times the scam artist will create these fakes from real documents. They will buy a real postal money order for a maybe a dollar, then put the document number on the fake and change the amount to something in the thousands. If you only ask if the money order is real, the postal worker will rightfully tell you it is, but you will never know it is not for the amount written on the face, until it is too late.
Researching I found this very helpful information online.
